Founded in 1974, Joint Venture Changshu Elephant Rubber Industry Co. Ltd. specializes in a series of rubber belts of "Xiangqiu" and "Yuyang" brands. We mainly produce common V-belt, V-belt for automobiles, special V-belt, cut V-belt, conveyer belt, belt for agricultural machines, hexagonal belt, group belt, synchronous belt, multi-wedged belt, and so forth. A rich variety of V-belts produced in our company are of the best quality. 
    The area of the factory is 2000 square meters. Owning fixed assets of 30 million RMB, equipped with 230 sets of belt machines, all kinds of testing equipment and 36 sets of instruments, our company holds three sub-factories and six distributive departments. There are 350 staff including thirty-one specialized personnel and six foreign technical experts. After joint venture with Taiwan in 1992, sixteen up-date belt machines and four sets of testing equipment were again introduced from Taiwan, so that producing abilities have been enormously raised as well as the quality of products has been improved greatly.
    Our products, driving belts series in line with advanced international standards, have 450 styles and 3000 specifications through the provincial and national appraisal. We gained "second-class cup" of Jiangsu Province for advanced technology, won the prize of development of star-fire products awarded by State Science Committee, and our products have been honoured with "high-class product" of city, of province, and even of state. They are widely used in mechanical drive of industry, agriculture, fishery, petroleum prospecting, and mining etc. We deal with more than 5000 domestic users in twenty-eight cities, provinces and autonomous region, meantime export our products to sixteen states and districts in South-America, Europe and Southeast Asia etc.
    Our company is a major backbone enterprise famed with not only "advanced enterprise" of city, but also "enterprise up to TQC standards" awarded by National Department of Agriculture.
